Recruiting Dog Days

While we are all anxiously awaiting Alex Anzalone’s decision to commit to Penn State we picked up an outstanding ILB recruit for 2014 class–Greer Martini 6’3″ 215lb from Virginia–1st commit for that class. Martini was a first team All Stater as a sophomore–which is saying something.

So sitting at 16 solid commits for 2013 with just a handful of places left we now have matched the 2012 class.

What player to look for this upcoming season—-Anthony Rabasa who will push for time as an ILB after sitting out his freshman year. Didn’t get a lot of press but he was a big big get for his class–breaks out this year.

Next up Fall Practice then Sept 1st so we are almost there.

    1. Camilo–think they moved both Rabassa and Utopo around but both are about 6’3″ 250 lbs. I might be wrong but both more the physical type and if Rabasa can drop and cover I really like him at ILB–tough guy that every Fla. team wanted–mostly played DE in high school–I think he was a steal for ND. I posted what I thought since every other site all excited about Anzalone and what he was going to do and special announcement on espn.

Like to get him but we don’t need anymore prima donnas–what’s this BS I’m so special that I have to have a press conference. I’m a ND purist from old school I’m more worried if this kid thinks he’s so good he can come in and jump others in our program. He’s a f—ing junior in HS. He’s a sure bet for Penn State where he could start before he’s ready. He will take easy way out and announce PSU.
