1–Win Bowl Game convincingly.
2–Wrap up recruiting with Kiel.
3–QB–that whoever emerges is outstanding.
4–10 Win(at least) 2012 season.
5–Teo & Eifert come back.
6–Dayne Crist has a sensational season where ever he goes.
7– Both D. Robinson and M. Barkley go pro.
8– That Urban loses every game in 2012
So let’s see, we have 15 with maybe 5-6 left, although I am not at all sure how solid some are.
I’m already on record for signing a good jumbo FB as well as a legitimate gigantic Çenter–let the guards do all the pulling. I want an immovable 325-350 lb Center.
Kiel–I want him–you can bet Urban has already stuck his nose in.
Gerhig Dieter–WR 6’3” 210 lb 4.5 40 and he is right there in South Bend and wants ND–excellent student.
Most of all I want guys that really want to go to ND as long as they are mean and vicious .
Not ready, sloppy, low intensity by the ND offensive line contributed to a flame out in the first half and down 21 to zip no way to beat Stanford.
This team, especially the offense in facing quality opponents falls flat and almost looks like they are not only confused but that they expect to lose.
The OL was atrocious against a Stanford defense not known for brutalizing opponents. Sure Cave was out but it was the entire line that got punked.
A depleted defense made a valiant effort and those young guys gives us hope for the future.
Turning again to the OL we lose at least 2 starters but I do not recall any 2nd teamer getting any significant playing time–that is not how you produce effective depth.
Rees lack of any mobility almost got him killed. Going to Hendrix provided a spark and he should start in Bowl game.
Unfortunately it was also a final dis to Crist.
Wait til you see the Fla State pass rush–that could get real ugly.
For some reason this offensive team does not look prepared ag. good teams nor does there appear much effort or intensity.
Kelly and the offensive coaches have to do a much better job in all phases of the game prep.
Keep recruiting both OL and DL men but they have to play at least a little so they are ready when some one goes down.
Rarely do you have a talent like Mike Floyd and not play someone who can actually pass.
This team better in Sept than Nov.– called regression.
Lastly–get Gunner Kiel
Escaped with a win to go 8-3.
BC had a good defensive game plan dropping 8–many times Rees had no play but threw it anyway–should have been 3 pics for BC.
Sure do miss Cave–chemistry just not there yet.
Jonas Gray–devastating loss with knee–looks like he’s done–last year it was hamstrings and this year acl’s.
Tuitt did not play but glad to see Niclas at DE position think that is where he will end up in 2012.
Toma continues to impress and he and Ruffer along with Gray MVP’s for this game.
I don’t get Diaco at all.
Aaron Lynch frustration showing he’s held almost every play yet no calls.
Give BC credit–good game plan.
Truly hope Kelly just holding back or we are in deep trouble next week especially without Gray.
If Gunner Kiel was at this game–just commit now–you’ll play early.
This is a character game. If ND does not come out blazing then there IS a character problem with the players.
Against Wake–just went thru the motions for 1st half.
Against USC played scared and looked like they knew they would lose–despite new glitzy helmets.
Now they play a forlorn Maryland team that could easily upset them–just play the Pitt defense and run blitz entire game.
I don’t know which team will show up but wearing the green jerseys is a privilege and if they stagger around and not hammer Maryland they will be disgracing all the great players and teams that wore the green before them.
Maryland does have enough to beat them–this is their Bowl game. Randy Edsall brought a half ass UCONN team into ND stadium and won no reason why he can’t do it again.
Recruiting–they need Gunner Kiel. Get the best high school QB and you not only keep the recruits you have but may land a 5 star receiver similar to what Clausen’s commit did to that recruiting class.
So now Prediction. I think ND plays down to Maryland level but Maryland goes pedal to the metal.

Seems like over 50 recruits will attend the ND/ USC game.
The latest is QB Gunner Kiel 6’4″ 220 lbs. who just de-committed from Indiana. Guess he figured he’d get killed playing for Indiana. This also begs the question if Golson is dissatisfied since ND evidently kept after Kiel.
Wish List:
Just picked 5 since not sure how staff handles 5th yr. guys.
So many and so few available scholarships–so whoever really wants ND they better jump now.
