Can’t really believe this but it’s true. Amir Carlisle is going to wear the blue and gold after being a Trojan. This has to be the ultimate “fuck you” to USC. Makes you wonder what is really going on over there. I can’t wait to hear all the bitching and crying USC fans and the local papers (I live in LA) will begin. They are all going to say that he’s really not as good as they thought he was and that he’s a bum and so on. Glad to have him. Hope we get the Armistead boys next.
Elijah Shumate 4 Star projected safety 6’1″ 185 from powerhouse Don Bosco Prep (NJ) makes it 18 leaving 3 to 4 spots left in this recruiting class.
Big pickup finally cracking into the talent at Don Bosco which always baffled me. Believe last Bosco player that attended ND was Ryan Grant, now a RB with the Packers.
Bad news is Barry Sanders Jr commits to Stanford.
Will be very interesting who grabs last spots left. Thinking maybe Baratti might switch to QB.
Eifert projected as 3rd round draft pick skips pros and will return for senior year at ND—yes!!!!!

Case in point–OT commit from Ohio–2nd commit, really revved up–now confused since OL coach now at OSU–excuse me but it’s the school that’s important not an asst. coach–that go like fruit flies to whoever will pay them $1.00 more. Knowing Urban he’ll take this coach to get the recruit–then fire him after 1 yr.
Urban — he will simply further downgrade the bad OSU problems—got that cracker!!!
In the wind the last few weeks RB coach Tim Hinton out and off to Ohio State.
OL coach also out–rumors he too will end up at OSU.
Not surprising Chuck Martin now the OC.
I would guess Tony Alford back to RB coach.
I have no problem with this but you can bet the ranch Urban will have Hinton and Warriner going full court press on 2012 recruits.

So what do you say about this except that for the past month the ND Offense must not have practiced and that includes the coaches.
So what did we learn:
1–We don’t have a QB–Rees and Hendrix just erased themselves–maybe not fair to Hendrix but if you have it ya gotta show it. Suddenly we are down to 1 QB– Golson and if he doesn’t have “IT” we are dead for 2012. Kiel–reconsider–you would have played in 2012.
2–Diaco must be the dumbest DC in college football. After obliterating FSU in 1st half he eases up and goes back to the bend don’t break defense and loses the game. FSU was finished by the half–keep up the pressure.
3–How can you have 2 All American receivers and not get the ball anywhere near them for most of the game and guess what–if they are covered go elsewhere.
Finally, I congratulate the players who almost won despite the poor coaching.
P.S. to Kelly–throw that playbook out the fucking window. By the way nice job with the QB’s in Molnar’s absence.

FSU QB—looks pretty damn good to me–can throw on the run and has great escape ability.

Leave it to the collusion of NCAA Conferences and TV greed to ruin the traditional New Years Day games. Think only Rose Bowl on at 4:30 PM.
Speaking of night games–if you really need night games start them at 6PM–especially for ND–simply don’t show up–too tired.
This game is critical for Kelly in many many ways–time to show you belong at ND–must win.
