Kenny–that’s a very good question–unless Mahone gets, bulked up and learns the playbook, we have a problem.
I think the bigger problem is the OL, I am not at all convinced they are good enough–think that was weak link last year –probably reason Hiestand was brought in–he studied under Joe Moore who was a tough tough coach and was a major factor in Holtz’s success.
They(OL) played soft or scared against USC and Stanford
So, I believe they have to be a pass first, fast paced offense but you gotta have a QB that can pass–just remember Floyd gone–problems ahead with this schedule.

What will the Irish do about their running back question? I don’t know if they have that person who can successfully run against the tough teams.
