Michigan Punter vs Notre Dame
Another night game against Michigan. This is a weak team that somehow beats us every game since I can’t remember. First Rich Rod now this new guy. All along it was Denard, who can’t really throw except when it counts. Obviously he is a terrific runner and his legs have beaten us every time. So now what?

Diaco has to have someone mirror him, perfect for Slaughter, but he’s gone forever. Who else? Maybe one of the new guys that’s a good tackler and quick.

Denard can stand this game on it’s head, regardless how horrible Michigan really is. Ideally what you want from a defense is to really punish a running QB–they pay for this in the Pro’s. But for Notre Dame they just can’t get a good hard shot on this guy. Maybe Te’o(slimmed down) can really nail him or force him into a big hit from Nix or Tuitt or even Calabrese. The idea is to have someone hit this guy every play, and I mean hit him hard.

Notre Dame on offense, Golson kinda scares me, as I said in an earlier post he’s kind of helter skelter picks just waiting. The right side of the OL–Golic and Lombard are horrible so far, but looking further we really have no depth–Steve Elmer 2013 can’t get here soon enough.

I would like to see Calabrese drop the hammer on Denard.
